The strength of the wall begins to wear away
Everything starts to crumble
Tears fall from my eyes
Safety slips from under my feet
Standing in the middle of the street
Cars continue to fly by
Closed in my own world
Voices soon crash inside
Engraving their words into my mind
"FEAR" "HURT" "INSECURITY"
All rumbling my thoughts
Continually replacing the positive
With their negative insights
Wondering how it got to this point
And wanting to know why
Comparing the thoughts of the world
With those in my mind
The ground under me begins to shake
As the truth slips up from under my door
Finally there is a wake
For the darkness shall cover the truth no more..
